Blur

There are very few beautiful boundaries in the world. But you are by far the strangest definition of a chimera.

Light brown eyes,
too close for comfort,
too out of reach.
There’s too much of you here.
There’s too much of me over there, left behind.
Admittedly, I have not seen much.
But I want to see you.
And I thought I heard it all, until you said there are intimacies that suffocate –
And there is a lightness in just being.
Maybe I’m a tad bit confused,
but darling I’m not ready to unconfuse myself.
So

box me up, and take me home.
